The most difficult part of living with Integrity is walking your talk.

The most difficult part of living with Integrity is walking your talk.

What I’m talking about is the physical and emotional effort it takes to NOT participate in the things that are outside your values and the grief that comes along with it. When we make choices that align with our values, we may lose friends, jobs, money, homes, roommates, partners, lovers… you adjust your proximity to things and people that don't share your core values.

Well, I guess it’s not losing and more like aligning toward your values.

My definition of integrity is when your values, beliefs, thoughts, words, and actions align.

Living with integrity can bring about a multitude of positive changes in one's life. It allows you to align your actions and decisions with your core values and be very clear about when you have stepped out of being your word. It takes courage to admit our mistakes and take accountability for our impact. It means being true to ourselves and taking a stand to live our ideals no matter how difficult. Being true means that you become more trustworthy to yourself and in the eyes of others. This can lead to more meaningful connections and deeper relationships. Living with integrity means accepting the pain of grief and loss, rather than ignoring or denying it, but truly being with it. This can lead to greater emotional resilience and an ability to cope with life's challenges. Lastly, living in integrity and authenticity makes your life simpler and overall more vibrant, and fulfilling life.
